for fuck's sake

so, i haven't weighed in on this yet, but the idaho legislature finally sent an anti-gay marriage amendment to the voters for approval (and they will approve, one can assume). obviously it's fucked up that a minority's rights get to be voted on by the majority, but whatever. here's the deal conservatives: you can pass all the laws and amendments that you want, but they will all be eventually overturned because younger generations don't feel the same way those currently in power feel.
case in point: this article by dan popkey of the statesman, interviewing legislative pages about their views. most likely he would have had the same cross section years ago when i was a page in the idaho senate.

you can't stop progress. word.
