before i became the trendy person you might know me as today, i used to be a big figure skating fan. i haven't paid much attention to the sport since, like, 1994, and thus all the people i used to cheer for have gone pro, gotten fat, or are trying their hand at reality tv. all but michelle kwan who was a sprite of girl the last time i really paid any attention. i feel bad about her situation and hope she can at least hang out in turin for the rest of the olympics and get drunk every night in varying bars saying things akin to "i could've been a contendah!" drinking always makes me feel better. also, groin injuries? painful!

Yeah, all of my lewd guy friends who think she's hot keep saying things like, "Yeah, she should come see me..I can help her stretch out that groin injury of hers, heh heh heh."

okay, my posting about this is really dumb, b/c i've just been hearing about it from david, but i don't think michelle kwan should have been in the olympics to begin w/. i'm sorry, but if you don't make the qualifying rounds, then you don't get to go. i hate favoritism and can't believe she whined enough to to make them give her a special judging session.
but as david reminds me constantly, i'm all about "second hand opinions," so feel free to ignore this one.
