is it bad that i want to start each entry with a big 'fuck you' to someone?
anyway.
i have nothing to say about this that hasn't already been said, but seriously. separation of church and state much? people seriously need to get it through their heads that just because something offends your religious sensibilities, it doesn't mean that it needs to be law. that's called theocracy, boys and girls.

also: a couple of things to go along with this. i thought visual might be a bit better when we're dealing with mentalities of such a low level. the sad thing is is that anyone in our nation's capital can see this, and yet it goes ignored. people love to quote the founding fathers when it suits them, but they ignore what is written on their memorials. cheers to mr. jefferson for giving us these words which are so appropriate for this day and age:
and? you've got your true love and i've got mine:

it is one of four quotes on the inside of the jefferson memorial in DC, which, by the way, is my FAVE!

Right on, brother(s)!
A. You guys are so cute.
B. I love that Jefferson quote. It's so perfect. But I wonder if there would have been exceptions to his rule. He was a slave owner, right?

yes, slave owner...but who's to say how he would react to the events after his death?
