bow out gracefully
Dear Former Senator Joe Lieberman,
when you lose that doesn't mean you ignore the results and go on. don't be a sore loser--into every life a little rain must fall. the turnout for this election was amazing, and still you don't think the voters spoke their minds? you are going to drain resources and attention from other races this fall. Withdraw your independent candidacy (yes, you will NOT be a Democrat.)

So true! I wrote a letter to Lieberman regarding this issue and requested a reply, which I received about a day or two later. He basically gave me the big EFF OFF, saying "thanks for your concerns about this pressing issue, but since I receive so much mail, I'm only looking at what comes from my connecticut constituancy. Please contact your own state's representatives to voice your comment further."
I wrote back. Mister Leiberman. Obviously you are not concerned about the opinions of your constituancy. THEY DIDN'T RE-ELECT YOU. What a (really bad word) -- playing games with democracy and making it obvious to an already apathetic population that your vote really doesn't matter.
Needless to say I have yet to receive a response from that one.
In other news...
Hope everything went well for you today. I love both you and corey tons and wish I could have been there.
